Giving Tuesday: Yay or Nay?

A lively discussion just for Members of GPLH and ADO (Association of Development Officers)

Some of us have had great success with Giving Tuesday, others …. not so much.

Meanwhile, summer is the time to start planning for Giving Tuesday! If you attended the United Way of Westchester and Putnam’s Not-for-Profit Summit on April 4, you heard from Giving Tuesday founder and CEO Asha Curran, who shared the history of the event along with many inspirational stories and creative approaches to making the effort a success.

Join your peers to discuss whether Giving Tuesday is worth the effort, and to hear positive and negative experiences and suggestions for how to make your approach be more successful.

Share your success with Giving Tuesday through straightforward or creative approaches. Or share why you have decided to opt-out or your strong feelings about what NOT to do. We anticipate a lively discussion with good ideas and suggestions from experienced colleagues.

This is a joint event with ADO and GPLH, only for members of these groups, at no cost. We appreciate our members and are offering this as an added value to thank you for your membership. If you are not a member of either group, please consider joining!
