Join this first webinar of 2019 with Ellen Gugel, seasoned grant writer with 20+ years of experience. She has developed hundreds of successful proposals for social services, education, health, environmental, social change, advocacy, and arts and cultural organizations from grassroots agencies to those with budgets over $60M.  Ellen led a well-received presentation on sustainability at the annual GPA Conference in Chicago in 2018, which she will adapt for our members.

Ellen will present different ways to define, or look at, the sustainability question, and what factors to consider as you craft the answer that best suits your organization.  She will compare and contrast both the applicant’s and the funder’s perspectives.  Her presentation will include many examples of how to and how NOT to answer this question, based on interviews with funders.  We think you will come away with new ideas about how to answer the inevitable sustainability question.
