The Grant Professionals of Lower Hudson offers grant writers and others a variety of programs and services to increase their knowledge and success at grant writing, including:

Educational Seminars

Quarterly meetings are typically the last week of January, April, July and October from 8:30 am-10:00 am to discuss a different topic of interest to members. Locations vary. Some are webinars or phone-in meetings. Please check our Calendar Page for upcoming meetings. CLICK HERE for a list of previous GPLH meetings.

Meet the Funders' Panel Discussion

GPLH hosts a funders panel for attendees to obtain tips to increase the likelihood of their grants being funded.

Free Grant Writing Advice

GPLH answers questions regarding becoming a grant writer, launching a consulting business, industry trends, New York State registration, finding new clients, finding funding for a particular project, and more.

GPLH acts as a clearinghouse for grant writing job opportunities, linking nonprofit organizations who are seeking permanent full-time and part-time grant writers or grant writing consultants  to our members who are agency grant writers and grant writing consultants.

Proofreading Service

Several GPLH members will review draft grant documents at an hourly rate and give you their unbiased opinions/suggestions.

When you become a member of GPLH, you can network with over 150 other grant writers/managers in the area who share your passion for grant writing.

The first Wednesday of every month at 8:30am you can phone in for an informal conference call with other grant writers, ask grant questions and share news. Check our Calendar page for the next meeting.

E-news Blasts

Members receive regular correspondence, including information on upcoming educational opportunities and conferences, job postings,   surveys, and grant industry news. We also maintain a non-member e-mail list for meeting notification purposes.
